Living arrangements and relationships have changed a lot over the past 50 years. 50 or 60 years ago, a young man or woman lived with his or her parents until the day that he or she got married. Then they would live with their spouse until the day that they died. That was it. These days things are quite different. The average American moves 11 times over the course of their life. A young person may live with his family, his friends, his friends along with his significant other, and then just his significant other before even thinking about getting married and settling down.
